Jabari Jelani Peoples
Born in Las Vegas, Nevada, the youngest of three, Jabari Jelani Peoples was quickly introduced to the structure of military life by being packed up and moved with his family to Germany at 6 months old. His mother Patricia Peoples, having served 8 years herself in the Airforce, is the backbone of the family and took all three kids on two flights by herself while his father (Master Sergeant Clifton Peoples Jabari opted to join the Marine Corp after High School and served 4 years as an 1833 (Amphibious Assault Vehicle Crew Chief) with the 1st Marine Division, 3rd Assault Amphibian Battalion at Camp Pendelton, Ca. After a 4-month break, he decided to re-classify and join the United States Army and served another 4 years of honorable service as a 31 Uniform (Signal Systems Support Specialist) with the 1st Cavalry Division, 15th Forward Support Battalion at Ft. Hood. Jabari’s lives to serve and has built 3 decades of Leadership, training and experience in Security and Situational awareness in several Industries to include Health, Corporate, and the latest Executive Protection Industry. He has two amazing kids, son Kelani-Marquis (26) and daughter Sydney Elise (20). He is married to his lovely wife Kathryn and currently owns and operates a Safety and Security Consultant Company Overwatch Secure LLC He lives by a very simple Ethos “Live for something greater than yourself and accept nothing less!
